Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-Noon; Fridays 1pm-4pm
Mates (9 to 10 year old intermediates)
Mates build on the skills they learned in Seamen. They gain confidence through time on the water.
Sailors will be required early in the program to sail independently in Optimists. They learn to land at a
mooring, basic racing skills and advanced knots. In addition, they increase their knowledge of navigation and basic weather patterns.
